Fixed Iron Sights Set Backup Front and Rear Sight Combo Set for Picatinny Weaver Rail Mount (Black)

I haven’t shot these yet, but they came in as a very close Daniel Defense replica with branding logos and all. If you are going to use it on a real AR, the screws just need lock tight and it appears they will hold a zero, but like I said, I haven’t shot them.

Please do NOT purchase these. The entire design is flawed and doesn’t replicate any usable fixed iron sight. There is no “clamping” effect possible on these, therefore is never engages the rail. The screw doesn’t tighten either side, and the sight remains wobbly. Screws stripped immediately when trying to remove, and had to drill it out, therefore damaging a brand new rail. Absolute garbage waste of money.

These are pretty decent sights, they’re definitely not real Daniel Defense but they work to put them on a new build while I wait for an optic, they actually adjust fairly well too.

Im a bit surprised with these. Great quality, they even say DD on them. I didnt realize they were ripping off DD, but I couldnt care less honestly. The front post is a little thicker than the gen 3mbus, but being as Im using it in full auto, I dont really care.

First off they have Daniel Defense logos on them and they are most certainly not. They are a Chineseium knock off. The larger rear peep hole is too small but i remedied this by taking a 3/16 drill bit to it and enlarging the peeps diameter to the correct diameter and used a black sharpie to color the bare aluminum inside the peep... But given those issues they are decently made for the price. They do need to be torgued quite tightly to the rail, and I suggest a little blue loctite. Some reviews say they will not work on their picatanny rails. I tried several different rifles and was able to secure them to the rails. The trick is you have to really torque them tightly, but be careful the screw is cheap and could strip easily. Would be best to find a replacement screw of better quality honestly. But it does work. I measured the height and they are of the correct height of 1.5 inch above the rail. And the adjustments are solid and have a solid click inbetween each adjustment. Compared to the price of the actual Daniel defense sights like these and with the minor modification I made I must say I am pleased. I am giving 3 stars because of the things I mentioned above and I have nit feild tested their reliability yet. But at the same time they do have potential and through mknor modification was able to make it right. We will see as time goes on how we'll they hold up

First thing I noticed was that the flip aperture was on backwards (the cupped side goes toward your eye), no biggie, but still a thing. Next thing I noticed was that the rear sight HOB (Height Over Bore) was NOT standard. Waaay off, if you plan to use this rear with a "F" marked or older style front sight /gas block, it's not going to work. Standard HOB is ~2.6 inches, (measured from the center of the barrel's bore to the tip of the front sight) This is not even close, by my measurements this fixed rear sight is over a tenth of an inch lower then my A2 style (DCH) rear sight set for 25/300m BZ...As for the front sight, it's taller then the rear sight, (it should be shorter due to bullet drop in relation to "POA" Point Of Aim) and far beyond the adjust-ability of the front sight post.At this price point I wasn't expecting a lot, I bought it because I was curious about the hybrid A1/A2 design, (sometimes called an "A1.5") but the geometry of these sights are so far off as to make them useless.

I bought these for a BB/pellet gun…they actually have the DD logo on each sight (didn’t show that on the original purchase page)…which is a total sham and rip off to DD.So in short…they will not attach to any picatinny rail….they are complete and total junk…can’t wait to return. Can’t believe you actually have to give it a star.

Can’t beat the price, seem to be built well, not as nice as actual Daniel defense but to the untrained eye they work
