Excellent quality tool
Accuracy and repeatability are good. Unit is easy to use. Instruction sheet could be better, but is understandable. Supplier is responsive and helpful with any problems you might have. All in all, glad I chose this micrometer.

Easy way to precision in the hobby shop!
If you're like me, you already have a traditional micrometer, which even though maybe relatively inexpensive, worked really well, but again, if you're like me, you had trouble reading the darn thing right... I found myself taking a measurement in the lathe with the micrometer and then double-checking it with the caliper, and that's not a great workflow. So, this tool has been a game-changer for me - it reads down to half a ten-thousandth, and it just tells you what you've got with no second-guessing. I still use a digital caliper and a dial caliper (like taking a measurement on one, then checking how far I've gone with the other), but when I want to know with precision what diameter my part is, this tool what I use as my source of truth. You can pay more money for a digital mike, but I think diminishing returns would kick in - for a serious hobby workshop, this is probably one of the best items for the money.

Ok
It’s fine, the materials feel quality but I do not trust the readings inconsistent zeroing.

Wow, impressive
Do you know when we buy some products we go for the most expensive and you don’t have to go that way I have never seen a micrometer so accurate I do a model railroading and when I’m measuring the size of a drill, I cannot be off by 1000 of an inch. This is the product that is off the charts it is that good don’t bother putting your money into expensive stuff because I’m going to tell you this is going to impress you, when I looked at it and I started playing with it, it is deadly accurate. Let me ask you a question. Isn’t that what you want when you buy something accuracy is the name of the game and this is the product you should have I’ve been into model over roadie for 57 years this is the best micrometer I’ve ever used it can measure in millimeters and I can measure in standard SAE trust me. You won’t be sorry.

Works great.
I use use this tool to take measurements for reloading and it works very well for that purpose. I do wish that it used a more common battery that's why I only give it 4 stars.

Very Nice Feature Set
Before this micrometer, I had a better known brand, that supplies to several of the other sellers here on Amazon. That mike died far too early, on the first battery change. I went searching for a different digital micrometer and stumbled across this one. I love the feature set but honestly use it the most in the "just plain digital micrometer mode", not using any of the special feature buttons it has. Turns on when I move the screw, turns off within a few minutes of not being used. Gives me a reading I trust. That's all I want.I don't a primary or secondary standard, to test for accuracy, but I have no information that would lead me to doubt them. The old analog scale method for reading a micrometer is there and the digital readout enhances it. They use the same battery as my digital calipers, and with three sets of those, I keep batteries on hand. That's another point where these are better than the "Brand S" micrometer I had that failed on the first battery change.I haven't had these long enough to run down the battery, so I can't say anything about durability other than they seem to be well-made, accurate and reliable.
