It is Fireproof
As much as can be safely tested with a lighter, this fire bag is fire proof. I specifically tried to light it by holding the flame in one spot, and that just blackened it. The smoke residue wiped off with only a little scrubbing.I was trying to see if i could scorch the papers inside, and i just couldn't. I was hoping for even a little bit of discoloration, but the papers are just as white as they were upon entry.Due to fire hazard weather, doing any more extreme fire testing would be reckless and exceptionally dangerous.The siding material is nylon and will burn and melt, but the bag itself will not. This is a good document protector.
