I was expecting more heat from this jalapeno powder. It’s definitely not as spicy as I had hoped, especially compared to other brands I’ve tried. The flavor is a bit bland too – it lacks that kick and depth of heat that I usually enjoy in my dishes. I used it for chili and tacos, but it didn’t really stand out. It’s not bad, just not as flavorful and hot as I wanted. If you’re looking for a true spicy punch, this might not be the best choice.

This jalapeño powder is a game changer in our household. We have several allergies which makes snack food difficult for us. This jalapeño powder mixed with other spices and nutritional yeast makes the BEST popcorn seasoning. It has a wonderful pure jalapeño flavor and could be added to anything to give it some heat and flavor. It's great in guacamole too. As for value, I think it's worth the price because it's a unique product and 4oz will last quite awhile (a little goes a long way)Word of caution - This powder is super fine, so don't even think about smelling it BECAUSE you will inhale it, it will hurt, and it will make you sneeze - trust me!
