This is perfect for my two chihuahuas. They really like it and it helps to keep them from getting too tubby. :) That being said, I recommend ordering by itself because the bag I ordered arrived crushed (and the contents crumbs) due to two cases of canned food thrown on top of the bag. Note the item is not returnable or replaceable. Still, this is a good food and I do mix it with canned food.

This food is easily digestible for my 11 year old Yorkie. The pellets are quite small, making them easier to eat than traditional kibble. People would always comment on what a big dog he was or calling him “fatty”. In fact, the dog groomer charged me more for him than other Yorkies due to his size! I switched to this food at the recommendation of his vet, and suddenly people were commenting on how cute or how good he looked. He is also able to move around easier and is more playful. I’m very happy with this food.

Dogs love this dog food

My 12-year-old dachshund was extremely overweight with no energy. We began feeding him this dog food and cutting out treats and he has lost a lot of weight. He is able to run and jump again and has so much energy. He likes this food and seems to be full after eating the suggested portion amount. We've been feeding this now for about three months.

I don't like that our dog has put on more weight since we switched her on to this. It's been almost a year and I was hoping she would loose some weight, not put some on.

My furry companions have enjoyed Science Diet for 16 years. I have never had any issues with this product.

Our dog loves this food. Not sure if she is losing weight, but good to know she is getting less calories than before.
