Worked exactly as described! I used it for a class illustration at VBS and it really got the kids attention. After class they all wanted to play with the magic sand, they had a lot of fun with it.

My niece has been asking for this for a couple of years and I got it for her stocking. Now that I know she actually likes it I will be purchasing a larger set for her.

Lots of fun for my 6 year old! Also doubles as food for his “Oh No Gotta Go” flamingo!

I have not seen anyone else talk about this which us how hard it is to take the sand out of water and how there are tiny water bubbles stuck in the sand. This could be user error as no one else seemed to have this problem.

I really like this sand and ordered 3 different colors. My grandkids thought it was so cool that the sand is dry as soon as you lift it out of the water. You can leave it in the water for the kids to play with later. I had my grandkids not mix the 3 colors but it might be cool if you wanted to mix the colors. To store it away, I dipped it out on a plate, absorbed the excess water with a paper towel, let it sit out a couple of days and poured it back in the container.

We purchased this sand and it worked for only a few minutes until it turned the water a milky white and the sand permanently lost its anti-wetness properties.
