5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Filtration System 80GPD Stable Flow, NSF Certified RO Drinking Water Purification, with Nickel Faucet and Tank, Plus Under Sink Replacement Home Filters for Half Year Use

This is the nicest Reverse Osmosis system I've installed.Let's start with the Faucet -- my favorite part. It's excellent! Do not follow the instructions that come with the faucet kit, or you'll end up with a flow restriction in the pipe from the insert. Follow the directions from the overall kit instead. Then you get FAST smooth flow from the 3/8" tube, instead of a trickle from 1/4" or inserts. The valve turns smoothly, has NO spring-return (so you don't have to hold it). The faucet looks great, easy to clean, and there are no leaks. When this one dies, I will look for the same faucet to replace it!The whole system is very 'transparent' and serviceable -- you can get to all the fittings and connections for upgrades or replacements. This is replacing a "Manifold" unit that was one molded piece and impossible to service. The kit includes a separate "Bypass" branch for water flow to bypass the flow restriction. This lets you easily fast-flush the membrane or blow out air bubbles.ALL the push-fit tubing inserts are well-seated and locked with ring-clips.In my case, the unit arrived damaged, with one busted elbow fitting. That side of the unit was not well-padded in shipping and took some kind of impact. Fortunately, it was easy to twist out the broken bits and install a new elbow into the filter canister. I was tempted to remove a star, but it was easy to fix, and might have been done with the spare parts already in the kit, so trying to be fair here by blaming shipping rather than packing.The water tank is of the new all-plastic design. It's light and compact, and hopefully will avoid the rust-peeled paint that happens on the metal tank.The extra filters were included as described. This will replace every filter in the system Twice, but not the membrane. Nothing here is custom/one-off, so I expect parts to be easy to source. Production rate has been correct, and the water is perfect.The kit includes a nice tube-snipping tool, TDS meter, and all the fittings needed. No hardware-store runs were needed.Overall, a really nice kit for a great price.

I got this system mid May 2020 but only installed it 2-1/2 weeks ago. (My kitchen remodeling project delayed due to Covid worries initially and then due to unavailability of contractors.) The system was installed by my contractor and initially worked great, water tested really good and I got about 24 reading on the TDS meter after RO, down from about 190 before RO. However three days ago the first filter vessel started leaking. and also the tube to the tank started leaking. I fixed the tank leak by cutting off a piece of the tube and reinstalling. But cannot fix the leak from the vessel. I have a little container to collect the leaking water, kept the system outside of the cabinet, and the cabinet left open last 3 days. My cabinet floor got water damage and I am not at all happy. Today sent a SOS message to the vendor and now waiting for response. I had the previous RO system for 6 years and may be once had a small leak. Also I changed filters every 6 months in the previous system and never had any issues or leaks after filter changes. I could hand tighten the filters and never leaked. So I am not too thrilled about this system right now. I am hoping that this leak can be fixed asap by possibly replacing the filter vessel or an o-ring. I will update this post as I get responses from the vendor. This unit seemed to be slightly cheaper than other vendors but I the headache from the leak is not worth the cost saving.

Edited..I didn't get the extra filters with the original order, but the vendor contacted me after I left poor feedback and sent me the filters as advertised.I have installed mine in the basement to provide water to my fridge upstairs. So far it's working great. Water and ice taste just like I expected.I pulled out a 3 filter Kinetico system that was tasting awful. It was cheaper to put this system in than replace the filters in the Kinetico.You can't beat this for the price.

I installed the same system in my daughters home over 2 years ago. It has worked well for her. So I decided to buy one for us. Here is the short list of why I have uninstalled the filter system and it will be in the trash:1. Leaks from multiple connections. Fix one and more leaks appear.2. Lousy installation documentation. One page, not step by step and unclear. It has a water flow diagram which is useless.3. The listing page states that there is 24 hour technical support. So where is the phone # or any kind of contact information?4. There is a multi-page installation guide that can be downloaded, which is actually useful, but it shows 2 websites that don't exist.5. I called Amazon customer support and they could not find any customer contact info in their vendor profile.6. Did I mention all the leaks?

Product did not work when received. After a few troubleshoots...found out it was the check valve. I bought one. The check valve are not expensive but still had to buy a new one. Works great now. Love it.

Easy to install, great customer service. Fresh water and low TDS reading. Highly recommend this PurePlus 5-Stage reverse osmosis system, we used these filters for long time and water quality is good. This water system works well for refreshing water taste and avoiding any particles or contaminated water due to old pipes and tainted water supplies.

Our water tastes great! I recommend this water system, the filters last a long time and the installation was very simple.
