Nice small size, but poor assembly method
I really like how small the unit is and comes with pretty much every adaptor you could need to charge your laptop. Also the extra USB ports on it are convenient as well.Now the bad was the main power jumper off of the spring loaded connecting device that gets the power from your 12v outlet source. This solder connection failed after a couple weeks and I needed to open up the unit to re-solder it. I'm not sure if the very cold weather we have had up here in the Minneapolis, st Paul area was a big factor in the failure of the solder joint or not. It would be tough to recommend this product to anyone based on this failure. I would guess about 99% of people are not going to open the unit up and re-solder a connection to keep it working.I attached pictures of the failed connection and my poor re-soldering job. ( I need to get a better soldering iron). I love how small and versatile the unit is, but I think they need to make this a mechanical connection for durability reasons.

it did work, but it really isn't intended for my laptop
the specifications were not as it turned out the same as my standard charger, also it was difficult to select the correct adapter, they sent about 40 of them with no real instructions on which one to use. The first one I plugged in caused my laptop to claim that the battery was in permanent failure, and this error continued intermittently for a while even after i found the right adapter. To be clear the error was not serious just disconcerting. I would personally if I had it to do over find another solution, but this one did work

Versatile, simple to use
If you have an odd application, or like to experiment, the is a good way to go. The adapters are polarized to prevent opposite voltage, and the instructions are brief but clear.My application is odd, to run a Vox VX50AG guitar amp off 12V. The M8 connector fit perfectly and delivers 19.5V, close enough to the desired 19V. The USB power plugs are an extra bonus to keep my phone or video camera charged.

Unreliable
Device fits poorly in truck cig lighter outlet. Sometimes it charges,but if it gets bumped while driving on a rough road,you are out of luck! Very poor item for the price. UNHAPPY!

Take your laptop with you
Very useful for bringing my laptop with me. It works in the car of course but I also have a deep cycle battery for tent camping and I charge my phone and computer off of it.

So far just tested it for a few minutes on a Lenovo Thinkpad and it worked as expected.
