Excellent device – fast, easy, and worth it
I’ve been using the new Fire TV Stick 4K and it honestly exceeded my expectations. It loads super fast with Wi-Fi 6, and the AI-powered search makes finding shows and movies so much easier. The 4K picture quality is sharp and smooth, and having access to so many streaming options—including live and free TV—is a huge plus. Got the Fire TV Stick 4K a week ago to replace my older smart TV's slow interface.Really like the voice remote with Alexa; searching for shows is much faster than typing. It's snappier than my old TV menus and just works as expected. Works extremely well, easy setup
Ordered this to turn a dumb TV into a smart TV, and it fits the bill perfectly. The remote control is much more intuitive than the one that came with the TV, it adds a lot of functionality (we are in an area with very few broadcast stations so streaming is the best option). Picture quality for all video is excellent, and there is plenty of storage for apps so we can load up a number of streaming services including a few free ones.

Not the same as the old ones
Works fine but I notice with the new versions the storage on it sucks. It only allows a few apps to be downloaded and then you have to buy an sad card for it.

Better then the old model.
Better then the older model.It has better, and faster wifi connection, can take it anywhere with you. If you had the older model it will download and sync all your data to the new one, its also a plug and use no other attachments needed.Summary: Easy to setup, stronger and faster wifi connection, and will transfer the data from the old model to the new one.

Worth the upgrade!
This version fire stick is a huge upgrade from the 7 year old ones that I have been using. Start up is much quicker. There is a cable TV style programming menu as an option in addition to the standard home screen and app selection grid. 4 hot buttons make it easy to jump straight into popular apps (or sponsored partner apps?). A lot of the bugs that I was experiencing with my older fire sticks are not present with this new version, like stalling out on certain ads, playback stuttering, and sound/image syncrhonization issues. The remote programs to control your TV set also, eliminating the need for a TV remote for power and volume.

Easy to use
I love this newer version. It works so much better than my previous one. I will be using the previous one on a different tv in the house. But it's easy to plug and play. The remote is ok. Navigation is easy and the pictures on the tv are so much clearer. I will say this is well worth the money.
