Better padding for heavier lifts
Different style barbell pad. Works well, can do 500lb hip thrusts now. Regular barbell pads hurt too much. Although its size is slightky difficult

Thick and sturdy!! Can't feel the bar over my lap!
Heavy duty, high density foam with a SOLID velcro sheath that keeps the pad in place and attached to your barbell where you want it to be. In a word..... GENIUS!!!Honestly couldn't feel the barbell across my lap doing hip thrusters. Had a couple of 25 lbs plates, one on each side. Foam padding never gave way to have me feeling the barbell at all. The velcro sheath did a fantastic job of keep the pad still and straight not only through mounting and dismounting, but also throughout the entire set of exercise. No fidgety shifting trying to get re-centered back on the pad. You put it on and it STAYS on, allowing you to concentrate on your form and movement throughout the set.GREAT addition to the home gym. Makes me excited to do some barbell hip thrusters as a part of the workout routine. Excellent find!!

Doesn’t hurt the hips
I’ve tried a lot of the tube like hip thrust pads and they aren’t long enough or thick enough.This pad is amazing and I don’t feel any digging on my hip bones and it’s plenty wide!Only issue I have with this is how wide(short side) it is, it’s hard to get where it needs to be to start my set from the bottom because it shoves into my stomach and makes it hard to breath and get it over my hips for the bottom of the reps.Other than that it is AMAZING for hip thrusts and has left my hip bones bruise less and much more comfortable.

Like:-nice and firm so bar is not cutting into you-heavy velcro keeps it from slipping-covers all bones-easy to useDislike:-can be hard to breathe because the edge pushes into abdomen. I have a short upper body.
