Great finish, looks fantastic. Good size, should accommodate most turntables. Solid, heavy construction with very nice adjustable feet. Bubble level is a nice, handy feature. Does it’s job of isolating the turntable from vibrations.

Great addition to go along with my Fluance RT85 turntable that my stereo stand is on hard wood floors, keeps all vibration away while I spin my vinyl. Fast delivery & great value for the price.

Only been using for about three weeks in a small room where the speakers are relatively close to the turntable. I haven't really noticed any significant difference in the sound quality, but the natural walnut base looks great with the Fluance turntable in the same finish and it feels well made. Not sure you'll notice any difference unless you have a really high end system. (But, again, it looks good!)

I purchased this base directly from Fluance in May of 2024. I’ve had it about 6 weeks for evaluation.Out of the box, the weight of the base is substantial, the finish is flawless and it has a high end audio appearance despite its relatively low price.Installation is simple and it is an effective dampening and leveling base for my turntable.I like vinyl since it was my only audio source in the 1970’s. I’m not one of those audio snobs willing to blow $10k+ on a turntable.This base, paired with my Fluance RT85 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge is ideal for my needs. I like the overall sound and dampening.There is room under the base to keep the album cover for the album on the turntable and a a few other “on deck” albums. See the photos.On other unusual benefit is that the base raises my turntable up a few more inches above my grand daughters reach. That won’t last for long but it’s helpful today.In summary, this base was a good acquisition , the finish is exquisite, it works well and in the a world populated with extraordinarily expensive audio add-ons it’s very inexpensive. Very attractive base for my (cheap) current turntable. I have had a Fluance RT85 on my wishlist for a while now, and I am now even more excited to get it now that I have the matching base. The base is very well made, great fit and finish, and since I have a home with wood floors over a crawlspace, there is a good amount of vibration in my space. I think this is a good value for the price based on quality.

We are using the Fluance isolation base with our Wockoder turntable. The wood frame of the turntable sometimes gives off reverberations in the cabinet. The Fluance isolation base minimizes these external vibrations and enhances audio clarity by doing so, thereby improving frequency response and detail for accurate sound reproduction. The high mass wood plinth made of dense MDF dampens unwanted vibrations, supported by adjustable feet with a built-in bubble level for precise setup and stylus alignment. Engineered isolation feet with silicone rubber further reduce environmental vibrations, increasing dynamic range for various home audio devices like amplifiers. The construction of the isolation base is top notch and looks aesthetically pleasing, and the sound quality has drastically improved in combination with our turntable.

I am using the Fluance IB40 with my vintage Yamaha PL-400U turntable. My house is built on pier and beam and there's a bit of floor vibration that can cause unwanted movements of my cartridge and needle. This stabilizes my turntable and makes it less susceptible to floor vibrations. It looks sexy with my setup, although this obviously is not specifically made for my vintage turntable model. The base itself is glossy and attractive. It is a high end product, crafted with obvious care and attention to detail. It's also priced well for a product of this type. Wish I'd gotten one sooner. Recommended.

Decent

I have been wanting an Isolation base for a while but they are very costly. This one from Fluance is a game changer in both looks, performance and price point. Easily matches the performance of bases costing 3 times the price. Highly recommend!!
