Fab kits- bought two for my kids to make- paint colours are really lovely, loads of choice. Lovely wooden stand which works well. Sphere is textured so looks very realistic when painted. Light gives it a nice glow, low enough to use as a night light although there’s no automatic off switch- needs to be done manually!! Would buy again!!

Got this for my niece. She loves it. Painted it the first day with her mother. Keeps it on her bedside table and uses it every night. Fun, creative little project. Gives the sense of accomplishment after completing it and being able to use it. It’s just about the right size and right level of brightness. Good value. Happy niece therefore happy uncle.

So I really like the idea of this light, especially with a space loving small one.Good points - the light itself is well made and it looks great on the little wooden stand - perfect night light 'light' as well - not to bright etc.Can't speak as to how long each battery will last so may end up as a money pit as no way to charge the light.Bad - the kit comes with paints/dabbers and two paint brushes - the dabbers don't fit in the pots and the paint was dry - especially the metallic paint - very big let down as although I had paint that we could use as a substitute I didn't have any metallic ones so small was a bit upset.The pots are very small too, my lo wanted to paint the moon grey and then add splotches of colour - there was no way the small black and white pots (even if the paint wasn't dry) would have been enough paint to colour the moon.I think I probably wouldn't buy again and if it was brought for me I would make sure I had enough paint etc to complete the project
