Red Iron Oxide 6lbs, Magnesium Ribbon, Adjustable Spoon

Iron oxide worked well as a component of thermite for thermite welding. However the “magnesium” ribbon would not ignite and burn. I bought a different product and it lights in a few seconds and burns the entire strip. I threw this roll in the camp fire and got 5-6 little flare ups and a puddle of cooled something or other the next morning. Defiantly not close to pure magnesium, maybe 5%.
