This Pickle Power battery has completely revived my old 3DS! After my original battery started dying within an hour, I took a chance on this replacement and couldn't be happier. Replaced a swollen battery pack in a 3DSXL after finding it in the back of my closet. This battery seems to hold a charge way better then the OEM did as far as I can remember. Little screwdriver included, too maybe 10 seconds to swap them and I was back to playing Animal Crossing.

I had bought this because I noticed the battery life in my n3ds was dying faster than usual, so I found this one that says it has a 2000mAh battery and expected longer battery life.At first charge it felt like it was another normal 3ds battery/then the other charges I couldn't tell if it was longer than the original or the same... and to be frank I can only tell you from my experience, the 3ds lasted 10+ hours in sleep mode and the battery was still at 4 bars. and when I played on my 3ds the battery seemed like it lasted a good 5 hours before it needed to be charged ( I was playing ace attorney soj, great ace attorney, rhythm heaven). maybe longer if I hadn't casually left my 3ds on sleep mode multiple times.

I’ve been through a few different brands of aftermarket batteries for Various models of the Nintendo DS and so far pickle power has been the best. They batteries look and feel well assembled and fit perfectly in the game systems. Capacity is on point as well. I definitely recommend these if you need a replacement.

I bought two and have only tested one so far,I fully charged it and ran a battery test, 2hr 45mins with full Brightness, power saver off, wifi off.My original new 3ds xl battery that came with my device at launch tested 3hrs under the same conditions.So if you are looking to replace a healthy but old Nintendo battery with a new, better battery DO NOT GET the battery.If you have a failing battery or spicy pillow, and want a $10 working replacement, this is an acceptable option.I'll update this review after running a battery test on the second battery if it has different results than the first.
