Flickery mess, not as advertised
The media could not be loaded. Received, read instructions and tested immediately. It actually requires a USB C to be plugged in to work properly. However, it never worked. The screen stays black for about 15seconds at a time, then flickers a picture for 1 or 2 seconds, then goes black again. I tried different hdmi 2.1 cables, nothing changed. Clearly cheap and poorly done circuitry. At this price I'd also expect the output HDMI 2.1 to be included. Shocking product. Returned Immediately, not worth wasting more time replacing.

Looks well made but there it ends
The product looks smart, but doesn’t work on our setup, which is a PlayStation 5 a Panasonic 4K DVD player and a Sony OLED TV. it’s advertised as not needing a power supply, but the instructions say that it does if both devices, PS5 and player are switched on - What! we’re told to switch the PS5 on while using the DVD player… Anyway, even with its USB power connected, ARC didn’t work, the clever TV didn’t recognise the DVD player anymore and it didn’t know what the PS5 was. All of our HDMI cables are high speed 2.1 and they work perfectly when the product is removed. So we’ve sent it back, which is disappointing.

Screen flickers when using 4K 120hz
Product works great at low refresh rates - at 4K 120hz you get periodic black screens as others have reported. Only lasts a few seconds every 4 minutes or so, but not ideal for any type of gaming

Just about works..
This product just about worked. I have my Sky and PS5 plugged into this but occasionally screen goes black a few times a minute. I have to unplug all the connections and re- plug them back in but doesn’t always work

Works Great (With Caveats)!
My use-case for this switcher is the following:- Two PCs with HDMI 2.1 output (AMD-based) connected to 'input'- One UST projector with a low-latency input connected to the 'output'- The supplied USB-A -> USB-C power cable plugged into a standard USB wall-wartHere's what I've found:Cons:- The "optional" power is disingenuous: if you're using this splitter/switcher then you likely need the features that require the power to be supplied (primarily EDID persistence)- No 'auto-sensing' for source inputs (manual switch press is required)Pros:- Switching between two PCs feeding 1080P/120 + HDR is seamless: zero issues- Having an 'active' HDMI cable on the output produces no issues (and is even referenced in the manual)- Speaking of the manual, it has all the technical info you could want (albeit in a form of broken English)- Very nice build quality- Price: these things seem to get cheaper and cheaperI would certainly buy another one of these should the need arise. Note that I have *not* verified 2160P120/HDR/VRR, but it does claim to support that.

Small but effective.
Smaller than I thought which is good. Does the job beautifully. Highly recommended.

Problem reviews are cheap cords
Howdy folks, great product, and I'll hit up the reviews that worry a person."It requires power" - no, it doesn't. HDMI 2.1 or better powers the unit. It's the cord."It doesn't stay the way I want it" - HDMI cords don't have fingerprints. If you disconnect something, you'll have to press the button once."It burnt out early" - So do cheap computer parts when you strain them every day.Works great. BG3 is showing 114FPS on my TV. Pushing the button on this makes my equipment behave exactly the same as if I just switched the cord. Pretty happy. Go team
