The clipper guards are great for long hair cutting. I can swap the guards to create different lengths.

I got these thinking other reviewers weren’t using them right and that I would be able to make them work. I was wrong. They do attach well to my clippers and seem to be good quality. The issue is they just aren’t very functional at these lengths. Even with brand new very sharp clippers and holding lengths of hair out to get cut, you can’t get an even cut with these. I’ve tried with my hair dry, wet and any way I could but the long ones just dont give you an even cut. They would work if you had long hair and are looking to sheer some of it off but for a clean cut they aren’t it.

These sizes are great to have. They work great.

Works good for when you don’t want to get to the barber

I have a Wahl hair trimming kit. I got the idea for one after we got a trimming kit for our Maltese. Due to heart problems and Lupus, it is difficult for me to keep appointments with a barber. I went with my wife to her hair dresser (I prefer barber) and it was $35 + tip for 6 minutes. Well, I'm to cheap to spend that and keeping appointments can be a problem, as I mentioned. My Wahl kit has guards, but the longest one is 1" and that is too short for me. These guards are from 1 1/4" to 2 1/2". The 1 1/2" or the 1 3/4" work well for me. They have metal where they clip to the Wahl. I wash my hair and blow dry it back. Then zip my Wahl all over in various directions. Takes about 4 minutes. My wife, who is hard to please on a lot of things, is pleased with the job these guards do.

As the title says, the extra guards fit perfectly on my hair clipper. I don't see any problems with them whatsoever.

They fit Wahl's clippers. But hair just slips through the teeth of these clipper guards without getting cut. Several tries will cut a strand here and there. I returned them. I'm back to trimming my son's long hair with just comb and scissors...lol.
