eliefs Onggi | Healthier, Superior, Eco-Friendly | Premium Fermenting Crock (2 Liter)

I've been making kimchi for years and was very excited to see an onggi available. It took a little while for the 2L version to appear, but I'm very glad I waited. I normally make my mak kimchi with a large head of Chinese cabbage, half a daikon, a big carrot (and many other things--but that's the bulk ingredients that take up the most volume). The first time I used it, I was dubious that such a small pot would hold the batch, but it certainly did! The resulting kimchi has a beautiful depth of flavour, better than what I normally get in glass jars. The onggi itself is very handsome and has pleasant, simple craftsmanship. I'm now considering getting the 1L version for making kkakdugi; I'd actually really love to see a 1/2L version as well for making oi sobagi in small batches.

Superb! Far more wholesome a feeling to the fermentation process by using one of these, as opposed to glass jars with lids and vents. I am trying to resist buying a second one. 🤭

Love it. Supplier was really helpful. I accidentally broke the lid and they replaced it really easily for me. No hassle or fuss. Would recommend

love it, initially used it for kimchi but i soon discovered that my kefir grains feel really well at home in this. it worked as well fine with powder starter cultures
