My hair has never looked so defined, my curls are popping all over my head. I love the consistency - it’s thick and you can tell it gives a good hold when you rub it between your fingers but as you spread it over your hands it becomes thin and not sticky. A little goes a long way so whatever amount you usually use half it and then add more if needed as you go. It didn’t create a crunchy cast, there was a bit of a cast but I just scrunched it out as I normally would. It didn’t affect my scalp, most gels do so I was impressed.The one down side is it is not very moisturising. For me this is fine, I don’t need a lot of extra moisture but I do think in future I’ll use a little leave in before applying. Also if your hair doesn’t like protein I imagine this will make it feel like straw.
