Really liked these as my first 'proper' pair of binoculars. Not got the hang of the connector for my phone yet but I'm sure I will sort it at some point

For the price paid these binoculars were a shock. I bought them for occasional use so wasn’t expecting the clarity these optics deliver. I have had more expensive binoculars that just didn’t deliver this level of performance. Very pleased with them, grab a bargain and buy some now.

Good and do the job

I am none too knowledgeable of binoculars to give an expert review and these were a long considered purchase for birdwatching or a fledgling interest at least. I had looked at somewhat more expensive ones and the cost wasn't an issue but more usage and longevity of interest.They are very good, did take a bit of tweaking to get eye relief all right and weight wise they are reasonable, don't notice them with the harness on and with nerve damage in my arms I am able to hold them for a long enough period before relief is needed. The wheel is smooth making use easy and not a fight I have found on some in past, a colleague whom is the owner of a set of Barr &Stroud had a look and implied a good clear view with a fractional bit of blurring on the edges ( he used tech term) impressed with overall look and feel of build as I am too and with all the bits in the box presently think they are value for money.

I'm no expert, but they seem brilliant to me. They feel high quality. The eye cups twist out and work well with my glasses. Easy to adjust and focus. 4x lens covers. The lenses are not noticeably green. The carry case is a little flimsy, and the less said about the instructions the better ;) but for £39 I couldn't be happier.

Nice solid binoculars but I would estimate my garden to be 10 m and ( unlike any of my other binoculars) that is too close to able to focus on an object . The view is clear if objects in the far distance and ok for astronomy
