A drama series that follows surgical doctors around at a Seattle hospital who are in the process of interning or completing their residency. The show focuses on the day to day lives of these doctors and the relationships they form with both colleagues and former patients while progressively learning and growing in their careers. Conflicts often begin between the new doctors as they compete with one another throughout the seasons and each season ends with an important character either passing away or permanently leaving the show.
