GiobertiMen's Formal Suit Vest Fit for Business or Casual Dress

The sizing chart was perfect for me. I'm 6'1" and 250 lbs. After reading feedback and people saying the sizing chart worked for them i decided to go with that. I measured my chest at the widest part, underneathe my arms, and it was 47". According to the sizing chart that was right in the middle of an XL. I had tried on vests from, Dillard's, Penny's, Bealls, and a couple others. All of their vests either capped out at Large, or the XL wasn't quite big enough. The ONE time I found an XL vest at Dillard's it seemed slightly too short and didn't go all the way down to cover my belt. I wanted the vest to fit around the middle, but also not leave me feeling like my gut was hanging out. Finally I tried on a Big and Tall vest, the smallest size, i think is a Long and Tall, it fit perfectly, but a perfect fit apparently costs $80.I decided to scour the internet and came across this vest right here. The reviews helped me find that the sizing chart was accurate for me and a good quality vest that fits well for a great price.

Good vest for the price... it is a little boxy but overall a good value. Used this vest for to dress 9 guys in a wedding and nobody had problem with fit.My husband is inbetween a 2XL and 3XL, weighs 250lbs and every broad. We ordered the 3XL and it was a little loose, but we were able to adjust it on the back.

I ordered this for my husband to wear on our wedding day and it exceeded all of my expectations. I was worried about it looking “cheap” from what I’d seen in some of the customer review photos, but it is far from that! He is normally an XL, but I ordered him a 2X in this vest due to the material not having any give to it. Highly recommend!!

I choose this because the material in the front looks like a nice quality fabric of medium weight, the back of a silky-feel material of matching color, and the hardware is a nice dark color. It turned out exactly as expected and the workmanship is really nice!Con: Sizing issue. My husband normally wears a Large in t-shirts, 42R in suits, 16 1/2” neck for dress shirts... but I had to exchange this for a Medium. (Easy process so I did not mind but it’s good to know.)As long as you’re aware of the sizing issue, I would definitely recommend this vest 👍🏼 It looks nowhere near it’s $19.99 price tag. I would have guessed $100-$200 if no one told me it was an Amazon buy! 👍🏼👍🏼Happily keeping this purchase!

Ok so the reason I say it's too big is kinda on my doing, but more so my mum because I asked her opinion on sizing. I got this for some characters that I cosplay, but I also prefer a suit kinda look over a dress for anything formal, so I can use it a lot. It's a really good vest (granted I never had one before but still) and it's really nice material. The seams hold up very strong and has a thing in the back to help fit more to your body, only thing with me is that I got it far too big, but that again is on me/my mum so I won't take that off for the review, especially since I can take it in to fit my height and measurements. If you're like me, I'm 5'8 and around 215lbs I'd suggest going maybe a size or two down from what I got, but if you want to make sure it fits just to you, you can get what I got and take it in.

I bought a black Gioberti Mens Formal Suit Vest. I was so pleased with it that I ordered another, this time in grey. Folks, everything about the vest is a positive. I still can't believe how low the price is, especially when you factor in quality of material, stitching, design, and fit. I am no stylist, fashionista, or any type of clothing expert. But with all things said, this deal simply can't be beat.I read carefully the comments by others in regards to fit and decided an XL would be, well the best fit! It was! I'm 6' tall, 45" chest, 38" waste, and a fat 220 lbs.I reckon the best endorsement I could give a product would be to buy another. I did. The second best endorsement would be to take the time to write an endorsement about the product. I did that too.Just buy the vest!God Bless!Bill Hitchcock

Great Vest! Was only $20 and fit perfectly. I got a large... and I’m 6”3 200lbs.. fit perfectly after back strap adjustment. Was worried the large would be too small for me. Fits perfect for body size mentioned above.. for anyone needing references for fitting and are unsure. I’d say buy one size smaller than you would a regular t shirt. Some reviews say to buy a size larger- which I don’t understand. I wear an XL shirt... but XL vest would’ve been too big and wouldn’t have tightened enough to compensate using the back strap. The Large allows room for a gut (lol) if you have one... or tighten the back strap like I did, if you don’t have a spare tire lol.

The large seemed more like an XL. I've lost 60 lbs recently, went form XXL down to an L, so I thought this L might even be too small, but no it is hanging off me. Return shipping wouldn't be worth it, and the quality seems very good. I'll see my brother next year and see if he wants it and will be ordering a medium from another company which i fer may be too small. Time will tell.

Not right size undersized. As measured its is smaller then ordered. When I order x size I expect it. Will order bigger though. I like it enough to get another in bigger size.

Primero que nada la entrega es más rápida de lo que esperaba, decía que llegaba el domingo y llegó el miércoles (4 días antes) esta genial eso, otra cosa que es excelente es todo lo relacionado al chaleco, el ajuste es perfecto en mi talla, la verdad me es difícil encontrar ropa de mi talla aquí en México, pero la verdad queda super bien, la tela, confección es de calidad y se siente cómodo al usar, para quien quiera comprar los chalecos use una cinta métrica y mida en pulgadas, súper recomendable

La talla M queda demasiado ajustado, lo devolví y pedi L, pero ahora queda demasiado grande y largo, muy abajo de la cintura que es donde debe quedar un chaleco. No saben confeccionar ropa. No compres.

This waistcoat was perfect fit. I read the size measurements for a 52 chest it said 2X. I ordered a 3X as I wanted a slightly classic fit.
