Install could be done by one person but really best to use two as there are times it is good to have one person connecting things while the other person moves the tank some.While the gauge is relatively accurate there is no way to re-calibrate the Distance to Empty calculations. Full gauge to amount of fuel is as follows.Empty is 10 gallons remaining (Stock was 4-5 gallons at same indication)1/4 Tank is 15 gallons remaining1/3 Tank is 25 gallons remaining3/4 Tank is 35 gallons remainingF indication is 42 gallons remaining. (Gauge is configured to show full at 92% capacity from the factory)45 gallons and above will have the fuel gauge above full and the CTS will report 100% full.

I like the product there’s probably a few things you should know this one on a 2017 ram 3500 crew cab long box when you go to fill the tank up you probably should put the diesel ln slow otherwise it will click off about 18 gallon Shy ove being foul and some stations do not allow to top off next if you carry a pick up camper and use torque flight tiedowns you may have to do some modification on the front one because the bolts will rub against the tank . Next I found it easier not to take the fender wells out because I had Bushwacker fender flares and did not want to have to take them all apart again . So instead I drop the driveline reached over the top of the tank and disconnected all the wires and the filler spout’s at the tank itself then put the new tank in and reassembled the same way I took the old tank out worked great . Hope this will help some people if you don’t want to take the fender wells out

There was a plastic T fitting for the fuel vent lines that got broken in shipment. I was able to purchase a brass replacement at the local auto parts store. Otherwise, this tank fit perfectly, and was relatively easy to install in about 3 hours. The installation instructions are well written, and other than the plastic T fitting, the build quality is excellent. In my pinion, Titan should spring for the extra $3 and supply a brass T fitting and get rid of the plastic one.

Just installed this tank about a week ago. So far so Good. I filled it up and have gone about 210 miles so far and the needle is still on full. I have heard others say the DTE feature wont work but the fuel gauge will. I have friends in the Mopar field with Dealer tools and software. I am attempted to see if they can reprogram the ECU to change the tank size variable. I know its possible via custom tuning via ez lynk but I am not sure if tuning is available for those running the AISIN trans. I'll update this if Im able to reprogram the ECU.....But I am happy with the results and should make better range towing my 34ft Triple Axle

I bought this for my 2016 Ram 3500 daully. Not particularly difficult to install if you are limber and a bit of a contortionist. Some excellent videos available covering the removal and installation. Recommend an assistant to help with the change out. Keep in mind that there is no software fix for a Ram tell the fuel gauge and distance to empty calculation technology that you now have 55 gallons vice 31 gallons. DTE and accurate mileage will be incorrect. Fuel gauge works pretty well after you consume the amount of fuel above 31 gallons.

I fyou look at the tank pictured it shows a skid plate on the bottom. Mine and I assume the other sold here did not come with any skid plate.The picture is misleading, but the tank did arrive.

Tank fits, and works. The seller is not Titan tanks, and my tank was opened. Tank had major scratches and shaved plastic because the strap bands where moved. Oring was free in the box. Tank will work but pay a little more and get an unopened unit from titan

One of the best things I could have done to the truck. Very easy install. Only wish it was a little bigger.**Heads up** Your fuel gauge will act a little different. I can fill up way past the full mark and go almost 200 miles before the gauge comes back down to the full mark. Once you hit the half tank mark your fuel begins to go down fast.Also, when the fuel light comes on, you have 10 gallons left, with the old tank we had 5 gallons left.No complaints.If anything happens to this one, I will definitely buy another one.
