What's not to like about Zman! Because of its buoyancy, it can work as topwater. Diesel color is good finger mullet imitation.

You know those little ones, the ones just not big enough to grab the whole bait? Yeah, those guys won't be biting the end of these things and it'll drive them absolutely crazy too.Seriously though, on those good days when you are getting hits right and left and your usual plastics are being tore up constantly causing you to spend more time trying to keep it positioned right, find an unchewed place to put the hook, grabbing the bag for a new one? None of that, these things are rugged, and super stretchy. They jiggle and wiggle just right, and are overall a good product.The baits are priced higher per unit but you can catch a lot more fish per unit, so its about if you want to spend time putting on new baits or futzing with chewed up baits, or … not.

I like the action of these and so do the fish. At first glance I thought they were too small to produce any good results, but the action is different and in a good way. There’s a lot of grass where I fish, top and bottom of water, so I rarely even use the Ned rig jigheads with these; even the weedless Ned jighead doesn’t cut it in the heavy grass areas. I prefer to fish these with very little weight, just a tiny split shot (size 3/0 or size 7 split shot) right at the top of the hook just to ensure they sink. When it sinks I do a gentle 1 or 2 tugs and then let it sink again. These things sway smoothly through the water so incredibly and I have no idea how, it’s amazing...not to mention the durability! I feel like more weight kind of spoils this kind of action and less weight puts it in more of a “slow-mo” version compared to heavier weight, and adding only a tiny bit of weight just to make sure it sinks has worked for me. I know the Ned rig is highly effective too, but it’s not the only way these can be fished. I guess your own fishing conditions will tell you how to fish it. I like The Deal and Molting Craw colors

For some reason, the 4" yoga pants are hard to find. Arrived timely, and worked just fine.

You can easily catch multiple fish on a single lure. I’ve paired the 5 inch paddle tail with a half ounce z-man Striper eye jig head, and have had great success with Snook off the beach.

I catch more bass with the 4 inch color, yoga pants. For whatever reason you can’t find it anywhere in my area anymore. These guys ship it within hours of ordering it. Love it.
