I got this UV Sterilizer Ozone Sterilizer mostly to sterilize the baby's pacifier and bottle nipples, but also to sterilize the common everyday items that we all touch the most. Things like cell phones, keys, sunglasses,toothbrushes, hair brushes, TV remote, and jewelry. I also used it on my husbands socks.It works without water by using UV lights. You put them in, close the lid and press the button. The cycle runs for 10 minutes and then turns off. The items come out freshly sterilized. I noticed that things come out smelling like the fresh outdoors, it is an ozone like smell. That is how I know it works. This is a very useful item to have on hand with 6 small children in the house. They always seem to be passing colds back and forth so hopefully this will help with making things more sterile. I will say that it is a tad bit on the small side. It needs to be slightly longer and deeper.
