Disney Princess Crochet (Crochet Kits)

I’ve made all of these patterns and absolutely love them. As a person with over 40 years experience crocheting, there are some things you should take into consideration when purchasing this kit.1) kids love these dolls, but it’s not a kit for beginners. Though most of the stitches are single or double crochet, you need to be able to read a pattern and make adjustments as necessary. The hair for many of the dolls did not fit correctly and I needed to use a crochet hook 2 sizes smaller to create a wig that fit.2) the yarn included in the kit is OK, but not the quality I regularly use. I made my dolls using Vanna’s Choice.3) you need to purchase more safety eyes, and fiberfill, if you want to make more than 2 dolls4) dolls in dresses are easier than dolls with legs.I would definitely recommend this book. The dolls would make adorable Christmas ornaments.

I love Jana Whitley's patterns! They're so cute and do a good job of leading you through all the steps. Plus, the book itself is adorable and easy to take with me! I absolutely hate the yarn that comes with her packages, though. It's definitely not an amigurumi weighted yarn. Overall, a great product, but if you're going to put in the supplies to make some of the stuff too, it needs to actually work for the type of project you're putting with it.

This is a great little kit. You get enough materials to make one Ariel and one Cinderella. Materials include yarn, filling, 12mm plastic safety eyes, needled and red thread for mouth. The quality of the yarn isn't great, and I prefer smaller safety eyes for the size of the finished product. The crochet hook is also very basic, however... How many amigurumi patterns include all materials needed? Not many. You get 12 patterns which usually run about $5 a piece if purchased separately online. The patterns include detailed easy to read instructions. The book itself is small, so be aware if you have a hard time reading small print. I have been crocheting amigurumi for about 4 years now and I really enjoyed this kit.

I have been crocheting since I was 8 years old. I'm 10 now...ok 39! I can make hats, dolls, purses, etc. I have a lot of experience making dolls. I bombed on this kit. Which is really upsetting since I used my giftcard that I received for Mothers Day.There is a lot to this kit. There's a small bag of stuffing, crochet hook, safety eyes and red thread with a needle. Don't forget the pattern book. There is only enough yarn to make two projects. Which is where the kit failed me. I think there should be some sort of leeway on the yarn. Not everyone can crochet the same. I was very excited to make the mermaid. I ran out of yarn before I could finish. I still have everything together. I'm trying to get up the nerve to try another doll.

The packaging inside and out of this kit is cute. The instruction book is tiny and is paperback. The kit provides material (crochet hook, yarn, safety eyes, stuffing) to make Cinderella and Ariel. The instructions weren't the easiest to follow, some instructions weren't clear. I've been crocheting for years, but I used youtube videos to help me. So far I made CInderella and Belle and they turned out cute.

This is a great kit, it includes ALL materials that you will need for two princesses including the stuffing and eyes and even a needle and thread. The description says you only get materials for two and there is a HUGE sign on the front of the box which says the same, so I did not find this fact misleading at all as other reviewers have complained. The book itself seems to have good instructions with tons of full color pictures and the explanations are clear. I am an experienced knitter with no crochet experience. Started on Ariel yesterday and so far she's coming along just great!

La présentation du coffret et le livre font rêver ! Mais quand on découvre la qualité du fil c'est la catastrophe : une vulgaire laine bon marché alors qu'il faudrait du fil coton.Ce n'est pas une surprise car j'avais lu les commentaires des acheteurs précédents.Cependant le livre est super et il y a même plus de personnages que je le pensais.La traduction anglais-français est simple à faire avec l'aide de g**gle. Reste à acheter un fil de qualité !

Confezione come nell'immagine. Gli occhietti in dotazione sono un pò troppo grandi, la lana un pò difficoltosa da usare. Gli schemi sono fatti molto bene e le istruzioni (per chi come me è alle prime armi) molto utili!
