McKee's 37 - Matte Finish Cleaner & Protectant | Matte Paint Cleaner Safe for Vinyl Wraps, PPF - Streak-Free Shine, No Residue with UV Protection (22 oz)

I purchased a 2021 Challenger T/A several months ago and I’ve been using this on the painted hood, wrapped roof and trunk and the side stripes. I’ve been into cars since the 70’s and I gotta admit I’ve tried 4 of these quick detailers for the matte finish since purchasing the car. I used a competitors sealant as it was recommended by Dodge but as mentioned I use this for a quick cleaning and after a normal wash. Unlike several others it goes on and dries quickly without streaking. It claims to have some UV protection and a couple others I’ve tried that claimed to have protection I’ve found streaked and took more effort to remove. This included a final or finish spray made by the Company’s sealer I used. I want to try the Mckees sealer when it’s time to renew my present one in a year. Overall I find this great for a quick clean up….

I have a set of matte black rims that had started to lose their luster and in fact started to looked faded. I went ahead and used McKee's matte finish cleaner and worked as advertised. The spray brought the rims back to life and just used the spray a few days ago and rims looks like they were just cleaned. I would definitely ordered this again and very pleased with this product.

Works good on flat black rims.

I used this on my satin paint on my Challenger T/A. It works great to clean and protect the paint. Just use a soft microfiber towel, wipe it on and wipe it off for a perfect satin sheen.

Does not work better than water on my Ford decals

Good performance, not as slick as an SIO2 spray. My ride is coated on top of xpel stealth. The best attribute here is minimal to no streaking, and a quick flash. On/off without any strange issues. Leaves a crisp rich luster.Although the product says this is a waterless wash, it does not have great cleaning power. I needed to use another waterless product to fully clean. That’s too bad as it does provide a great matte satin appearance and a small amount goes a long way, just wish it broke down minor bug/tar and summer dusting/pollen more effectively. The cars I’ve used it on this far are ceramic coated and didn’t need a full wash. This made them around 80% clean. It’s not cheap, either, so if you are looking for a waterless that is almost as good as a wash, this is not it. If you want to enhance appearance and UV protect the vehicle, or perhaps have it with you for a show or gathering, it’d be better suited as it can also be used in the sun.

I have a matte hood, roof and trunk on my Challenger T/A and this product has the Chemical Guys version heat hands down. I purchased 1 and 1 to see which is better and this was the clear winner. The CG dries to a haze in spots if you do not dry correctly. The Mckees does not do that making the matte finish look even. If you like to keep your matte finish looking great, get the gallon as this stuff goes fast. I know this product works because it beads nicely when it rains.
