I have installed these to connect my main house to my guest house. Two hundred and fifty through trees. They work great and are rock solid. Included directions are worthless. Look for a you tube.

Decent low-cost, stable, outdoor wireless bridge
Pros: Fairly easy to setup for those with general IT and/or networking background. Hardware included is sufficient for installation. Connectivity is consistent at ~350ft with not even perfect Line of Sight (LoS). Perfect for rural areas to connect geographically separate structures. Installation in areas of low 2.4Ghz congestion/saturation is ideal for this technology. Outdoor rating is nice.Cons: The device installation could be simplified to be marketed as a wireless network bridge. Ideally, you could power them on in close proximity to allow them to automatically establish an encrypted connection, maybe by holding down a 'sync' button on both of them. Then, you'd install them in the desired locations. Then the devices would be transparent enough where it would be an emulated cable end-to-end.

Very nice units; good gain from the antenna over my previous units. I was pleased that they atre backwards compatible with my old Engenius EOC 2610's - no problem connecting. I use them on a 4 mile data link: 12-18 mbps.

Unit requires a little background info as it doesn't come with detailed instructions, but the unit works like a champ after it's up and running. 4 out of 5 stars for the lacking instructions. 5 star performance!
