Just as described
OK...for $12.00 I had to give these "scary" owls a shot because the neighborhood birds have been decorating my car every day. The product itself is of good quality. Came well packaged and on time. I needed to hang one of them on my telephone wires that run across my driveway and it seems to actually keep the flock at bay. However, the first windy day seems to have neutered my the big owl as the "jingle balls" disconnected and flew down the block. Now a couple of strong willed and curious sparrows tend to perch a few feet away from the owl with quizzical looks on their faces, but they are out of range to depth charge my vehicle, which is fine by me. Additionally, the remaining owls can also double as Halloween ornaments in the event that they stop being effective.

Working so far
These are cute and appear to be effective in keeping a pooping robin away from my front door. I hung 2 on my storm door and seem to keep the robin away. The bells are a good added deterrent. The robin had been pecking at the door, so I was hoping that the bells would also scare it away.

They Really Work!
This past spring, I had an awful problem with crows sitting in the tree above my deck or sitting on the deck railing and pooping all over my deck and deck furniture. I would clean it up and a few hours later, my deck would be covered with poop again. I searched the internet for a solution and I came across these scare owls.I’m so glad a took a chance and ordered them. I hung them in the tree next to my deck. The wind blows them and the movement and realistic eyes scares the birds and the silver prism surface catches the sun’s rays and the reflection keeps the birds away. They really work and my days of cleaning bird poop are over! Yay!

Works better the first week until whatever you are trying to scare gets used to it
The product itself was as advertised. It came with some cheesy white string to hang the units which i promptly removed and replaced with fishing line. It seemed to keep the birds, squirrels away more the first week than the second week...crows just ignore it. You have to move the locations every week or two for best results.

Did not scare birds
This item did nothing to scare two birds that continued to build their nest above my window. The product itself was as described, but did not perform as intended. Two birds made a friend out of this decoration.

Got rid of that woodpecker!
I had a woodpecker pecking away at my dogwood tree. Put the owl up there and that pesky woodpecker went and found himself another tree. They are pretty too. They have a prism effect when they rotate in the sun. But most importantly it worked for what I needed it to.

Helped out a great deal.
I bought these to keep a woodpecker from destroying my house. It has worked very well from the first time I put them up. It fell down because of the wind one day and sure enough mr. woodpecker came right back. After rehanging though, I haven't seen him since.

Looks nice. A decorative piece. But the birds like them too...
No issues with the product quality or the sellers. Came as requested, and went up easily. The problem is the birds didn't respond to them. I put one in each tree bordering my driveway, hoping to keep the birds from pecking at my car windows and mirrors. One is within 10' of my car, the other side maybe 15'. But both is prominent locations. The birds ignored them on their way to pecking and pooping on my car this morning. Heck, at one point at least two birds flew up into the tree and perched on the branch one of the owns was hanging from. I think I even saw one hover and peck at the reflective surface for a brief moment. I will leave them up. They look nice. But need to find another solution.
