I wasn't sure how well a bit of silicone strip would really help to keep the cold out during the winter, but they really did make a difference!My house has high ceilings mixed with poor insulation meaning it gets rather cold very easily. The front and back doors also are terrible for draughts, which then seep under the living room and kitchen doors...I only bought the one roll, so it wasn't enough to do the front door as well as the bottom of the living room door, and around the back door, but just those two made a difference. The kitchen and my living room (keeping doors closed) definitely felt much warmer, and we're better able to keep in the heat from the radiators. I'll definitely be buying another roll for the front door next winter!I'd also recommend using superglue to attach the silicone with, as I didn't find the sticky part strong enough for it to fully stay stuck in places. Especially for the living room door where the strip touches the carpet.

This is an easy to use product that I purchased recently in order to improve the seal around the external doors and windows around the house. I have used this on the doors and I am surprised that it has really reduced the draft and the external noises. even sat right next to the door it is noticeable how much of a difference that it makes having the door seal on, so really impressed with the product itself.One thing that I will say is a 5m real is not enough, I got 2 reals so in total 10m. I managed to do one door as in one side of a bay/ French door standard size, and both sides of a standard dual opening window, well in fact I got fully round one side 3/4 of the way round the other side so wasn't able to completely get the silicone all the way round. A bit annoying I'll be honest, now I know I should have measured it really the amount that I need but I would argue the most people are using it for this reason and ultimately it should be put into larger reals.The overall product I really like I will be buying more in order to completely seal the windows and doors around the house, note that the door and windows do get a little harder to pull shut and get on the latch but for me that just gives me peace of mind that it is really giving that extra seal and they do seal/ close and it doesn't seem like it would be an issue for anyone using the product. my only issue as mentioned is the length of the roll itself unfortunately but obviously that can be solved by just measuring of course.

This was very easy to apply. I put it at the bottom of my garage doors. Everything seemed OK however a few weeks later it has started coming away from the door and water getting in again. Disappointed so wouldn't recommend.

La bande d'étanchéité est facile à appliquer et très efficace. Je l'ai acheté car j'ai un espace entre ma porte et le cadre, ce qui laisse passer l'air froid. J'ai appliqué cette bande et il n'y a plus aucun courant d'air qui passe. Mon appartement est beaucoup mieux isolé.
