Carpathen LED Headlamp Flashlight with Bright White, 4 Red LEDs, 5 Light Modes & Extra Adjustable Beam & Straps Great for Camping, Hiking or Running

Got a chance to put this to the test while visiting my folks who live in colorado.When the lights go off at their place, they really go off. It is pitch black till morning, so if you have to get up to pee you better know where things are on the floor or you will trip and break a toe. This trip I was prepared with this niffty little light that you wear on your head or you can just carry. Not only was I able to make my way to the restroom without having to put on the huge chandalier lights that would have woken the whole house, but I also walked the dogs after dark and was able to see the dirt driveway all the way to property line which is 200 yrds to make sure there were no bear, wildcats or skunks that we might encounter on any given night out.

Very bright light and lightweight headlamp. Easy to turn on while on your head and the tilt focuses the light just where you need it. There are 3 choices of white light: low, high beam and flashing. There is also a red light. It uses easy to replace AAA batteries and works with rechargeable batteries so you don't need to plug it into a USB plug to recharge the unit. The head strap adjusts to head size by sliding a buckle and the over the head strap does the same. It is light enough that is doesn't shift or droop once on your head. Included with the headlight was a small red led light that can be used on a bike or dog collar. It is also, surprisingly bright. In all this is an excellent set, which exceeded my expectations.

Received my headlamp in a neat little box, opening it up I found small set of instructions, the headlamp and a bonus bike light, which was great because I do a lot of night bike riding. The headlamp does not come with batteries (3 AAA) luckily I had some in hand. The headlamp has 2 buttons on the bottom; the white light has 3 setting, bright, dim and flashing. The other button controls the red light with 2 settings, on, and flashing red. The light can also be moved up to a 180 degree angle once strapped on. Both straps are easily adjustable and quite comfy. I like the overhead strap because I feel certain that it won't slip out of place on my bike rides or out camping.The only concern I have is the small screw that holds the battery compartment together. It is quite small and if I drop it while changing the batteries it can be easily lost and I'd have to find an alternative to keep the battery compartment closed.Other than that I have no complaints and its a great little headlamp! The tigers also make a cute addition to the straps.

Has some good fetures and good design qualities, but found it to be a little bulky on the head and the white light could be brighter in order for the medium and low to realy be useful. The desiding factor for me was when my grandson was using it the fisrt night, it stared to turn off on its own then sometimes would go back on when you hit the switch, then sometimes still stayed off .Did this also when I shaked the light , so eather the batteries connections or switch is faulty. If this happens the first time using the light then I cant see how this will last very long. Will have to return.

I bought the headlamp because I have a couple of other headlamps that do not provide a bright enough light so based on price and description of how bright this headlamp is made the purchase.Overall it is a nice headlamp and provides a nice light, However the one major problem that I noticed is that the screw that holds the battery compartment closed is completely separate from the headlamp. Meaning be careful when replacing the batteries not to drop it or forget where you put it.I have already misplaced it once fortunately inside my apartment and found it a few days later,The other issue is that I did not find this headlamp to be that much brighter than the other headlamps I own, My bad for sloppy research.If you are in need of a super bright big light and don't mind a little more weight there are brighter lights out there, However if you are looking for a basic headlamp that can get the job done this is a nice lamp for the price.

This is a great headlamp. With three AAA batteries, it is lightweight yet bright.and works very well. There is a three way white light - bright, lower, and flash. It also has two two way red lights on the each side that are steady or flash and they give good light which make it great for all sorts of situations. It is a great addition for a camping trip or an emergency bag. It has a sturdy feel to it - very well made compared to the cheaper versions that may or may not work. The battery cover is accessed by a finger screw that give it more security while being easily used. The headband is comfortable and adjustable. The light can be adjusted many angles up or down so it can be for many uses. I'm very pleased with it and plan to buy another for my car.

I am well pleased with my recent purchase from Carpathen. It is exactly as described. Although I could have spent more money on a more powerful lamp with additional features, this is perfect for my uses. The lamp is well built and the lights are bright and appear reliable.It arrived promptly and well packaged. Thanx to both Amazon and Carpathen.

We have used them at a Cubscout camp last week and we were satisfied. Headlamps are powerful enough to light up a long distance and very easy to carry for my 5 year old and 9 year old. We also received small bike lights with them. Thanks to the seller. I dropped one star because the straps comes out of the clips very easy.
