Zippo"United Kingdom Flag" High Polish Chrome Lighter, 7961

This was a gift toy husband for Christmas and he is a very happy husband I indeed! The quality is typical zippo, it came brand new still sealed in the original case and in perfect condition. We use our zippos daily but we still like a nice and beautiful lighter and we scored %100 with this purchase.

I bought this lighter because honestly I love the Dr Who tv shows. It is a fun little lighter and being a Zippo it is also a durable lighter as well. I would recommend it !

I collect zippos and right out of the packaging there are good and bad things noticed.The Good:* Genuine zippo design not something painted on by the seller. They sell this exact model on the uk zippo site for $5-$8 more.* Has the warranty card* If fueled and maintained properly will last years longer then a standard light* The graphic isn't just some sticker it would be extremely hard to remove or damage* Legit zippo not a knock offThe Bad:* When I checked the date code on the bottom of the lighter it reads b 14 while the insert reads c 14 so this means they are made in the same year, but the insert is not from the same model (which doesn't do anything negative to the lighter unless you are a ocd collector).* The hinge seems to be slightly flimsy (more of a chance it will break with pop top tricks)* The lid feels like it isn't as thick as some of the other models I own* The bottom of the lighter is stamped in with the logo making it slightly harder to perform tricks compared to a rounded bottom zippo.* It feels a little cheaper/not as heavy and thick compared to some of the older models, but that may just be the way the company is making them now.I have read some people complaining that the lighter goes out in wind, an easy fix to that is to trim the wick slightly to the same height as the flint wheel and the problem will be solved.My Grandfather had a zippo given to him back in WW2 (all soldiers got one in a standard care package) and it still works like new today. My everyday zippo made in 2008 i've used daily for 6 years and it has never failed me I may have replaced the wick once and gone through maybe 6 pieces of flint, but If you are looking for a long term lighter these things are built to last. With a little care your lighter will be good for decades. To wrap this up I would definitely buy this lighter again especially for the price. Hope this helped.

It’s great if you don’t use it much. The decal started peeling off right away. Zippo is a great lighter though.

Bought this for my hubby who is from England and he loved it.

It presents as if tbe Union Jack is slightly raised -- through it's flat n the coloes are muted/duel--not vibrant.

let'all right, now I can use this zippo from the english Pub in Naples, to Brusciano, Somma Vesuviana with my friends Pasquale and Felice, and my best friend Gennaro's also like Zippo and Scotch Tennent's Beer. Now I smoke my cigarettes when i watch the film (Train Spotting) or football match (Napoli). Thank's, now i can smoke my slim cigarettes! Forza Napoli!!!
