Originally purchased black padlocks but later purchased red along with red luggage labels to make it easier to identify our black luggage on the conveyor belt, both worked well, very sturdy and easy to set combination. The red paint shows sign of ware the black after years of use are still pristine.

Took these backpacking and they were a lifesaver for lockers, my bags etc. really easy to use and good quality too.

These are very good locks they are heavier than I was expecting, so for travelling and you have difficulties with weight, don't buy these. I do have 2 others that are lighter, but as I'd forgotten the number, I tried to get it open, and it didn't take me long. These ones would take ages, like hours. So it would put off anyone who wanted a quick pick and Rob, and they'd have to take time or take a pair of metal clippers to them. They have a strange system of releasing the pin, which would make it difficult to see if the number you had chosen was correct. Very good locks. I gave 4 points due to the weight.

plus points - looks good, solid construction, easy to set the code and I like the warning button that tells you when its been opened by TSA. 4 digit code should be harder to crack by random fiddling. The only real negative is the ease of criminals bypassing it by cutting the wire, but that's inherent in this type of lock

The design is ok but could be better in my opinion, kinda fiddly, good concept but doesn’t seem very sturdy, setting the original combo was kinda painful

Excellent locks, easy to set in your own combination, can’t wait to use when going away

I used them on two of my suitcases on my last trip. It worked well - easy to set the password, lock and unlock.

My lock will be used outside so its durability is yet to be tested. My first impression is that this is a quality product.
