works well
This is a specific tool for a specific need. I found that, although I was used to a convex and concave tool, this was very adequate for my needs.

Does the job
I needed to re-screen some screens and wanted an easy screening tool. I have one with metal rollers. It works ok but you have to be really careful not to cut the screen when rolling in the spline. This nylon head is definitely larger than the standard ones. The larger head seems to help stay on track when applied pressure is used to roll the spline in. I wish the edges were a little smoother. When rolling aluminum screen and not fiberglass it can cut the screen fairly easily. I recommend fiberglass screen anyway. It’s so much easier to work with.

Must have roller tool for setting screen bead
Must-have screen repair tool that is well made and easy to use. The nylon wheel is less likely to cut nylon screen if you slip. There is a "sweet spot" for the proper size roller and the size screen bead you are using. Refer to the Everhard website.

Worked much better than the cheap tools for screens that you can purchase at the big box stores. Only trouble I had was deciding which roller I needed for the spline size on my screens. I took a guess on this size and it worked out. It may not work for every screen I have, but it will be good for most.

Good Quality
I haven't used it yet but it look to be high quality. Only thing that could make it better would be a sheath to protect the wheel while in my tool box.
