I bought this gamepad for the sole purpose of playing games on the PC.Initial impressions - it looks great. The gamepad is matte black adorned with a silver 'home' button and the appropriately coloured X,Y,B,A (blue, yellow, red, green) buttons. When plugged in via the USB cable (more than adequate length) to the computer, a green ring of light around the home button comes on - it looks good and indicates which controller slot the gamepad is occupying based on the order you've plugged your controllers in (if using more than one).The gamepad feels good in the hands. Not too weighty, yet without the flimsy feeling that some unofficial gamepads suffer from. Ideal for longer gaming sessions!After three separate "performance" tests, I honestly don't have a bad word to say about this gamepad.•Plug & Play on Windows 10 - Plug the gamepad into a USB slot and it's recognised, usable and configurable via Windows "Gamepad Settings" utility in seconds.•Excellent results using a "Game Controller Tester" app. Good responsiveness from the sticks and buttons - vibration working out of the box.• Tested in-game Torchlight III, Rogue Legacy 2, Rocket League. Excellent performance and the gamepad worked as soon as the game launched, without any extra steps needed. Comfortable and no niggling issues with the sticks / buttons.The true test will be the durability of the gamepad over time - but the first impressions - especially given the bargain price, are excellent.

The good qualities of the controller are that it is very similar looking to an Xbox 360 wired controller with small difference being slightly lighter and a more smoother feel. The problems with the controller are that it is not as responsive as a 360 controller making movement feel more digital on the analog sticks and having button not respond to being pressed on rare occasions. The worst problem I have with my controller is that the right analog stick brief goes right in random intervals making playing games much harder, I believe this to be a loose connection because lightly shaking the controller replicates the issue. Overall this controller feels inferior to the original.

Sadly, this isn't the best, it;s decently well made if a little light, however, the controls are all over the place. The thumbsticks have a 1 to 2 second delay and are also way too sensitive, what a combination!!. trying to move or even look around on something like resident evil or tomb raider is impossible. you also need to push buttons 1,2 or sometimes 3 times to select anything, they are very unresponsive. Just about managed to play football manager with this as its mainly just menu;s although that's still pretty frustrating, but any other game is unplayable.Its a shame as its a nice looking joypad, but sadly isn't fit for purpose.5 Stars for the sellers though as they dealt with my issue promptly and courteously.

About 5 months after buy this controller, to replace a genuine xbox 360 controller which was great and lasted years, the analog sticks now move on their own.I'll be trying to survive a boss fight in Dark Souls or avoid an orc in Shadow of War but I keep running backwards for no reason and my camera just love swinging to the right for no reason.I have been using the controller sparingly as I only use for Dark Souls and the Middle Earth games so its not like it has been through heavy use.I can't find a genuine 360 controller anymore and the new xbox controllers are stupid expensive so I am stuck buying these knock offs.Try a different controller, this one is not worth it.

I bought this because trying to pair and use my 360 original wireless controller on a PC running Windows 10 was proving a bit of a frustrating experience. The first impression getting this out of the box was a little mixed; coming from an original wireless controller this feels a lot lighter and a bit more plastic-y. There's also an ever so slight rattling sound when moving the controller around.However, I quickly got used to the difference in weight and, after a few hours of playing, I am quite happy with the product. It is precise and responsive, and really handles very much like the original.

I already had one of the Afterglow controllers however I wanted another one for my girlfriend to play on Win10. However I didn't really wanted to pay the loads so I looked around for different brands. After comming across this one I was a bit sceptical as I have never heard/seen this brand before but I still bought it due to the high reviews. I was not not disappointed!The controller works flawlessly from the get-go. Just plug it in, wait for it to install the drivers and it's all ready! The cable is long enough so 2 players can comfortably use one pc. There is not much difference in quality of the controller compared to the more expensive one. All buttons/thumbsticks work great and it feels great!Next time I'll need a controller I'll buy this one again.

After playing Fall Guys on my PC with a mouse and keyboard, I realised that I totally needed a PC controller. I chose this one based on the great reviews and the brilliant price. It works perfect on my PC, and I've even won Fall Guys a few times using this controller (so much better than using a mouse and keyboard). I've had no problems with it and I've even accidentally dropped it off my desk and it's hit the floor and not been damaged at all - but I'm totally taking better care of it now as I shouldn't let that happen.

Compared to the official controller, it is quite similar in terms of size and looks. However, there are differences, it's lighter, has a shorter wire, the left and right triggers have less resistance to them and the control sticks only work in 8 directions (think North, North West, West etc) so it lacks the precision of the official Pad. Therefore, If you play competitive fps games, then the official version would be better, but for general casual play this will be fine. It's a 3rd of the price after all.
