Crappy directions for use
I just put this product into service, so can't report on its performance. What I can say is that the packaging and instructions stink. Some of the things the mfr. doesn't tell you: Which way to orient the dessicator pad in its jar. Screen-side up seems to be the answer (as I learned from other reviewers) but the maker can't be bothered to say. And when you microwave it, do you do it in the jar, or out of the jar? No advice from the mfr., but I choose NOT to microwave the jar, as this might cause it to discolor and develop crazing over time. Again, I have to thank the reviewers for the very important caution never to microwave the pad for more than 30 seconds at one go. Instructions don't make that clear. Laughably, the directions tell you that after you put the hearing aids in the jar you should "Replace the lid and close tightly." But the lid can only balance loosely on the top of the jar. The design is such that you cannot close it tightly. If you were to accidentally drop the jar, the contents would fly in all directions. If you want a secure closure, I suggest you dry your hearing aids in a margarine tub with a snap-on lid and use this jar for storing M&M's. Because there are so many satisfied users on this website, I look forward to success with this product, but it gets zero stars for packaging and instructions. Incidentally, there's nothing in the packaging to say who makes this product, but I'm guessing it comes from China. Hope it doesn't poison me!

Very Attractive and Practical
The container is really very well made. The exterior is just about 4 inches in diameter, with an interior compartment 3 and 3/8 inches across. The exterior height is 2 and 1/4 inches, and the interior is 1 and 1/2" high, with another quarter inch or so of open space under the lid. It's plenty roomy for my hearing aids. In fact, half a dozen would easily fit inside. I haven't had it long enough to say much about the function, except that it seems to perform exactly as advertised. No problems.

size
It's about 3.5 inches across and 2.5 inches tall. The cover does not fit tight, just sets on top. This is not so good if you have a bad cat that gets on the dresser. Do not recharge beads in microwave for 1 minute as suggested as the plastic begins to melt.

Large and heavy.
the closure is tight but the top falls off if the box is tilted.the dry crystals do the job and they recover will after microwave treatmenttoo heavy and too large for travel.might recommend because I am not aware that there is a smaller lighter box...

Disappointing
It doesn't last very long and after being microwaved the first time.....it needs to be microwaved almost every other day.....I will not purchase the inserts - but I do like the case it is in.

Not what I wanted
I am using it now but I thought it would be an airtight container, in order to help remove the moisture from my hearing aids. It is a very pretty case though.

Good product
Plenty roomy for my BTE aids. Lift-off top is more convenient for me than screw-on lids, although it may not travel as well. I think it's nicer looking than many others. Seems to have more desiccant beads than the Siemens product I had previously. Decent price. I'm happy with it.

Dehumidifier
Nice case, same cartridge as the one costing five dollars more. does the job. Both humidifiers instruct you to place the cartridge in a microwave for sixty seconds to remove moisture when beads change color. Do not, I repeat, Do Not put the cartridge in for more than 35 tseconds or you will burn a hole through the covering. Update... 8/16/2013...Put cartridge in microwave, zap on high for 30 seconds, let cool down completely and zap again for another 30 seconds. That does the job
