Not had this drill very long, so I can only write my first impressions.It went through my houses engineering bricks, like a hot knife through butter! (we live in one of those many midlands houses that were built from them, post WW1). Something my poor old battery Makita, found too difficult.I was impressed by the customer service. Within a day of it arriving I was sent a personal email from the company, via Amazon telling me that I automatically got my 2 years warranty and to please call or email them with any problems or issues as they are a new company, trying to strive for excellence. This was good and gave me a good impression of them. Most companies are a bit; 'write us a good review please'. They obviously asked me to do that, but it was a vague request and not paramount to them. And O got the impression that it's certainly not the only reason that they emailed me.So far I'm impressed. If I had to give a negative, it would be that the buttons, switches and dial do feel a little flimsy, but would last fine, if not exposed to freezing temperatures, where they can go brittle. I don't believe they're flimsy enough to just snap. But having said that, it was a reasonably priced drill and as a new company that perhaps doesn't have a brilliant outlay just yet, they will improve on such things. I am more than happy with what I got for the price I paid. Especially as it's the only drill I have that can get through our house bricks!

I’m 49 years old and only just after buying this, my first power drill, after years of having asked my husband to borrow and use his brother’s when we had need of one, because I was nervous about using power tools.I carefully read the instructions, though, and then got right down to learning how to use it myself. I wish I’d bought this drill years ago. I love it. It’s so handy, and easy to use. I’ve used the masonry bits to hang a birdhouse in our concrete block garden wall, the HSS bits to drill into a support wall in the house to hang a heavy picture, the wood bits to drill into driftwood, and even the glass bit to drill a hole into a glass jar, to make a tealight holder. I’ve used the screw bits, as well. It’s a brilliant piece of kit, and excellent value for money, especially with the selection of bits and screws that come with it. I have to admit that I haven’t let my husband use it. It’s MY drill. :)I’m glad I bought an indoor/outdoor extension cord to use alongside it, as the drill’s cord is quite short.

Let me begin by saying I have had a drill phobia for years since the last two houses I have lived in had industrial bricks and I just ended up with piles of dust and holes 10 times the width and 1/4 the depth I needed. But having moved again I really needed to get over my issues as things needed putting up and wardrobes fastening to the wall. I was pleased to see another reviewer had managed with this drill in a house with industrial bricks. So having looked at too many others I took the plunge.I cannot praise this drill and the bits provided enough. I'm no pro, I'm not even an amateur but this helped me do all my jobs and regain my confidence. Very happy family.For the money I seriously think you can't go wrong, if your doing DIY and need a good drill with good speed and hammer ability.

I bought this drill a few months ago and now feel I can put up a review.My only negative is the drill handle switch which seems a little basic. The rest of the drill is very sturdy and well balanced.I've used it on wood, metals, concrete and natural Cotswold stone and it made easy work of all.I did use it as screw driver as well.It's a great little drill and you even get a spare set of motor brushes for later in it's life.

Sooo happy with this. It's perfect for a novice like myself. Being the only adult in my home, I'm not shy of DIY but not all that familiar with drills.... my first project, putting up 7 toy story plaques on my house. This set is so easy to use, came with all the bits needed to drill the wood and the brick. All 7 plaques up without a trip to accident and emergency = result!

The drill looks good haven’t used yet but tried it to see if it work okay only bought for light d I y I’m sure it will be good

After my previous drill burnt out (Hint - NEVER lend your power tools to anyone else), I needed another drill to put up a couple of shelves. The hammer drill not only performed satisfatory but the drill also came with the necessary bits to do the job. The accessories also come in a roll- up cloth case which is a nice touch. Can also be used as an electric screwdriver.

Drill is brilliant and powerful enough to drill through brick quickly, had a major DIY project to finish and my old drill just wasn’t up to it and burnt the motor out, needed a quick replacement and after shopping around I decided to buy this, very unknown brand but the drill spec was high and reasonably priced. Great drill and accessories. Used it daily for about 3 weeks now.
