This item arrived folded. It has several deep creases that do not appear as though they will ever go away. I bought it to use under my dish drying tray - luckily at least 85% of the mat is covered by the rack. The heavy weight of dishes did not help to smooth out the creases. If I had bought this to be in an area where it would be seen in it's entirety, I would return it as it is sloppy looking. I bought the same color mat from this company, but a different size that is the earlier model. That mat was shipped rolled up in a box and sits flat on the counter. The new and improved version is certainly not an upgrade in quality. I bought this newer model because I needed the larger size. I would not use either mat as a baking mat. I have the type of baking mat sold here on amazon that is a tan color with fibers in it and a grey border with the rolling lines on it. That type of mat sticks to the counter, is smooth and thin tho work on, does not have fold lines and working really well for rolling things out. I frequently use it to roll out tortillas. I would not be able to do that on this mat, it would be a sloppy mess.

This has become a new staple in my kitchen. I put it on the counter every time I do anything in the kitchen. It is amazing. It’s large so it provides a big working area. Makes pastry roll out so easy. I highly recommend this product.

This is so nice to work with! It stays put on the table, & makes rolling out my pie dough easy!I hope the circles stay on it. Too new to know for sure.

Upon first use, the pie dough I tried to roll out stuck to the mat. The second time I used the mat, the pie dough from the same recipe as before did not stick to the mat. It is very oversized so keep that in mind if you don't have much counter space. I have not used it much yet but I do like it.

I LOVE this mat! Are usually don’t write reviews but this is such a great tool for baking it doesn’t move the cool grey color is very subtle and a really really nice product. I would recommend it to anyone. The mat came folded not rolled up and the creases in the mat have disappeared so no worries there. Highly recommend

The wooden pastry board my Dad made me years ago became too heavy for me to place on my table. I had to reinvent a surface to work on that was easy for me to use. This Silicone pastry mat was just what I needed. I made handmade cavatelli, an Italian pasta using this mat. It was great to work on and easy to clean up. Once cleaned, I rolled it up with a layer of wrapping tissue in between so that the silicone did not stick. Easy storage for the next use.

This product is QUALITY. I love it. Makes pastry so easy to roll out. It's easy to clean and very durable.

This NON-slip Silicone pastry mat is a must-have for bakers. I was so tired of scraping pastry/pizza dough off my quartz countertops after making pie shells/pizza dough, etc.This is a perfect size at 20" x 28". It is also a nice weight and thickness and sticks to the counter and does not move until you are ready to roll it up.If you have ever made homemade pizza dough you know how sticky it can be. I just took a damp paper towel to wipe the flour and remaining dough from the mat and then a wet cloth cleaned the rest. I dried it with a tea towel and left it to air dry for 5 minutes before rolling it up and storing.I don't know why I waited so long to get one!So easy!!! A+++

It is large enough but very thin; you can fill any bits of dough under the mat that also causes the mat to wrinkle easily. Need to be a bit thicker.

Very large pastry mat, well made with various useful markings on the top surface. Arrived on schedule. Looks and feels much more solid than my previous pastry mat.
